Something I wrote awhile back and wanted to blog

Last summer...

I had the priviledge of spending most of the day with my momma her at my home. I intially asked her if she could come and help me with her organizations skills for my crazy cluttered small house. We organized, laughed, helped me with a recipe for dinner, folded clothers, separate quite a few baby socks, colored with Jared, rocked AJ to sleep, and even feed AJ some cereal mixed with some of my milk. I loved hearing her read to jared one of his favorite big bird books and how he listened so intently to nana. My absolute favorite was when she woke from her nap in my bed and I placed AJ beside her and she just sang to him and he laughed and cooed the whole time. He surely knows his nana's voice. One of the songs was a short one, from my grandpa.. I love you in the morning, in the noon, and the night ..what memories..

I hated that I couldn't find my camera today. Who knows where that thing went too? I did get some pics on my phone and some video with my digital video camera. I really admire my mom for so many things. She has taken this cancer head on and not letting it beat her up or take her down. She might in private but not infront of us. Of course she doesn't have to be strong on her own, she has the ultimate strength of Jesus Christ. I have learned so much from my mother and one of the most important is her faith on God. She lives it everyday and walks the walk. I want to be selfish and tell God please let her be around for a long time to come. But, I am not the creator and he has plans for all of us whether short or long. I just read a passage from Psalms and I would like to share it ..

Psalms 103:1-17
Praise the Lord, O my soul;all my inmost being praise his holy name. Praise the Lord O my soul, and forget not all his benefits- who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satifies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewedd like the eagle's. The Lord works righteousness and justice for all the oppressed. He made known his ways to Moses, his deeds to the people of Israel:
The Lord is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love. He will not always accuse, nor will he harbor his anger forever; he does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities. For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him; as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us. As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him; for he knows how we are formed, he remembers that we are dust. As for man, his days are like grass, he flourishes like a flower of the field; the wind blows over it and it is gone, and its place remembers it no more. But from everlasting to everlasting the Lords love is with those who fear him, ....

I know that God's love for us conqueres all and his love for his daughter in Christ, my mom, is never ending. I know growing in my faith will only help me everyday. I have heard my mom say whether she is healed here on earth or in heaven, she will be healed. I have tried to be strong most of the time and sometimes I just cry and cry. I know that is normal and it will happen again. The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and I am helped. My heart leaps for joy and I will give thanks to him in song. Psalms 28:7 Now, I have to stop worrying about the situation and BELIEVE in his promise and love for us!!!!!

I thank God for also giving my dad a peace that whatever happens with mom, he will be okay. They have the most amazing marriage, I have ever seen. They are truely sole mates and I have been so blessed to witness that my whole life. My dad adores my mom and my mom the same. My dad says what makes a good pastor is the pastor's wife. I have truely seen what love is. I also know the most important is where God fits in the marriage..the top of the triangle and that is where He must stay.

I've missed your blogs. You are so good at sharing your feelings honestly. Sarah, God gives us moments of tears along the way so that when sadness strikes, we are open to feel His strenth. God loves you and He won't give you more than you can handle. My hugs are here for you. Love, Deanna
