Happy Homemaker Monday

Thanks Sandra for hosting every Monday

The Weather:::
Just beautiful outside.. a little chilly but nice! It was chilly this morning but my son was determined to wear shorts with his jacket.

Right now I am:
I just finished a yummy taco. I am listening to my Christian music about to attack the kitchen.

Thinking:
I am still struggling making enough time for my boys lately. I work full time now and I struggle with being so tired and still selfish with my time. I don't work till tonight so when I pick up the boys we are going straight to the park and spend some time before I go to work. My son told me this weekend after telling me I don't spend enough time with him, " I will just go to a forest to die." I know he was tired as well but that was real feelings as well. It hit me big time. Thankfully I have gotten over this crazy sickness that I have had for over a week and feel better. He has been patient with that and been so sweet. I know I can be a better mom and I WILL be a better mom.

On my reading pile:::

I was reading an awesome book but then I miss placed it.. looking for it today.

On my tv:::
Hopefully nothing today.. must be productive after this.

On the menu for this week:::

Not sure yet.. but want to make something before I have to go to work tonight.

On my to do list:::
Major laundry to put away
Major cleaning in the kitchen and bathroom.. well I will start there.

What I am sewing, crocheting, knitting or creating:::
I have two little love'es I need to make asap.. the twins are coming soon for one of my great friends.

Homemaking Tips:::
When doing laundry, as soon as you pull the clothes out of the dryer, fold them and divide them into piles according to the family member.  Then take each pile at a time and put it away immediately.  If you put them in laundry baskets, chances are, they will SIT in the basket for a few days at the very least.
I've forced myself to do this the past few months and it has helped immensely.
(AMEN SANDRA!!!!!)

From the camera:::

Looking around the house:::
Lots of cleaning and organizing to do!

On my prayer list:::
My oldest brother!
Election
Working a few evenings this week
Spending better time with my boys

Bible verse, Devotional:::
Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings. 1 Peter 5:8-9

Hi, I am coming to you from Sandra's blog. I love the picture with the special Halloween message. From one mom to another, don't load too much guilt on yourself. If you have just gone back to work full time, it will take some adjustments, but we are our own worst enemies, aren't we?

Thanks Christy for the encouragement, sadly I have been back full time for over a year now. What takes time still is being the sole provider. I am so thankful to be able to pay bills, I just need to prioritize my time better!

I loved your scripture this week! isnt it funny how hard it is to stand up to certain people about our faith and beliefs?
