Good Morning!

I have been reading more on teaching my children more about Jesus in our home daily. I always prayed Now I lay me down to sleep ( the nice way) and the Lords prayer every night with jared since he was a baby and now we do a prayer together and the other to add from time to time. By 3 he had the Lord's prayer memorized. I couldn't believe it at first but then I realize saying it every night before he goes to bed does stay with him. So I have started lately to begin memorizing scripture with him. I have done some in the past with him but not nearly enough. He likes doing it for the most part. I also try to incorporate verses that will help him when he is grieving his Nana and is really sad. For may grieve but we still have hope! Aj sure tried to listen when I try to make it into a song.

Today I read Psalms 119:9-12

9 How can a young man keep his way pure?
By living according to your word.

10 I seek you with all my heart;
do not let me stray from your commands.

11 I have hidden your word in my heart
that I might not sin against you.

12 Praise be to you, O LORD;
teach me your decrees.

Eph. 2: 8-10
8For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9not by works, so that no one can boast. 10For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

Take time to make scripture memorizing a priority with your family!
