Gabe and I didn't think that we were going to get to do any thing for our anniversary because we didn't have a sitter. We haven't lived here long, even though I have gotten to know a lot of people from church, I wasn't sure whom I could ask. Well after we announced our anniversary in the prayers, a sweet couple, Amy and Jamie Peters, offered to take care of the boys. Jared and AJ know her from nursery and I was so excited to feel comfortable where the boys would go and we could be alone for a little bit.
We ended up going skiing and then had dinner together. Well this was Gabe's first time skiing and we didn't get their in time for him to have a lesson. So I attempted to teach him, but I wasn't sure how to go about that. Long story longer, he stayed on the bunny hill for about 1 hr. I went up and down it to try and help but he said just go have fun on the big hill (mountain). I was sad to leave him ( after he fell a few times on his butt) but he insisted. He still had a great attitude when I got back from the green and blue ski trails. He then encouraged me to go again and he would watch me come down. My legs hurt from being sore but it was well worth it. I could of never imagined living near a ski resort within 10 miles of my house. We then laughed about all his falls and then went and had a nice dinner together.
I love my hubby and God-willing we will be together for many many many more years to come.

Happy Anniversary!! I always get excited to see the pics and read what's going on in your lives. It's like you're right here telling me the story. I'm so glad you had the opportunity to share some alone time. God is soooooo good!! And He made the one and only, Sarah & Gabe. Continue to love each other knowing that God made your coupleness.
